Well we’ve survived our first long (ish!) trip (London, ONT again), and two nights sleeping in the trailer…. we actually made our own coffee this am. I feel human again!
The first night was the most glamourous… sleeping in a parking lot of the Flying J… talk about luxury… the truck fumes, and iceberg salad were to die for! Sarcasm aside, it feels good, and no matter where we park, or how in disorder we still are inside, it’s really feeling like home. Each day the dream seems more real. (That cold shower i took this am helped the sense of reality!)

We’ve been hanging out at a trailer repair place, getting all the systems checked out ready for full time living. Each night we stay in it, we have a new list of questions, non functioning things, ideas for things we need… the list is long! The plan is to hang out around here until we have no more list!
The good news is we are feeling a lot less stressed, the weight of getting everything ready is starting to fade a little. We’ve actually had a couple or real belly laughs over things, and that feels like we are both almost human again!
The plan after that is un-determined at this point.. right or left out of the parking lot still the non plan.

This is a travel journal of Kim, Deb, max and murphy. Two women and two dogs and an airstream dream. Follow us on our journey, come out to meet us, comment on our blog, as we go about living our airstream dream
Hey you guys, we don’t really want the glam just yet, Flying J seem just about right! It’s much better for the telling. Glad you managed your first journey so well.
