too cocky

Confidence is contagious. So is lack of confidence

cock We passed the inspection second time around… YAY. One little pesky brake light almost gave me a heart attack, but the inpector was kind and gentle and let it slip by… got to like when those burocrats give you a break!

So took our honey for her first merge on and off the highway, all seemed great. Feeling a lot more confidence in driving her, she’s pretty much a dream. Yesterday i backed into the driveway all in one shot… was feeling pretty cocky after my hyway driving so thought i could repeat the performance sans deb (who was at the dentist)…. ha!

After 3 attempts and a dinted bumper, i sit and blog while i wait for deb… got a little tooooo cocky me thinks.

I’m real proud of kim. She is doing awesome. I haven’t even gotten behind the wheel with the airstream in tow yet. She’s takin charge of the driving. I’m gonna give it a try Sunday when we head up to london, Ont. Keep your fingers and your toes crossed for me…I’m gonna need a big shot of courage!!

thanks! i’m actually scared s***ess. We’ve come so far… so the first time behind the wheel it was either adrenalin or stupidity driving me… now each time its’ easier, and there’s actually a more comfortable feeling happening. (course when get toooo cocky, there something happens to remind me not to get too comfortable)

i’m excited, only one more day till we head off on the journey, it’s such an amazing feeling.
