As we head into full season here at the no-tell-motel, we are gearing up for the reality that we are stucker than stuck here. So in a valiant attempt to fight off reality which will shurley crank our cranky even further, we are taking conscious steps to do things that help offset reality.
Yesterday the day started all about me…. my wonderful deb deb pulled out her reiki table and suggested a little reiki session. Nothing like getting all your chakra’s in a row to make one feel a whole different person.
(hmmm now that i think about maybe it wasn’t all about me??) . Â
It’s pretty impossible for us to go off together to do anything, so we are trying to take turns. Since it wasn’t a really nice day, deb only managed a bike ride in the wind, weighed down by the honey she bought along the way. And i got out for a walk about the RV park beside us… small steps!
I did pull out my paints, and had a grand old time re-connecting with an encaustic piece i had started before we went off on our airstream adventure. Felt great to be mucking about with all things creative once again.
Then as the day wound down, I went off to the grocery store to get something for supper, and spied a bag full of limes. Which sparked my brain to act on my weird craving of late for mojitos.
When i came back from said store i told deb deb that we were going to get drunk on mojitos, and dance naked around the firepit to stave off the cranks…. i swear she was in, but as per it started to pour… so guess we’ll have to save that plan for another day at the no-tell-motel.

This is a travel journal of Kim, Deb, max and murphy. Two women and two dogs and an airstream dream. Follow us on our journey, come out to meet us, comment on our blog, as we go about living our airstream dream
What? You didn’t dance naked in the rain?? The rain-gods offered you a perfect opportunity

I’ve been trying to perfect my Margarita recipe (hic) and can’t seem to get it perfect so I guess I better keep trying and trying and trying (hic)
cheers …
