El Morro NM, to Globe Arizona
Back on the road again. Took the scenic route through the Apache National Forest, including the Salt River Canyon. It was a really spectacular day, probably the most challenging driving wise thought! Huge hills, up down, switchbacks… OY my nerves! It was all made more challenging by the huge wind which was tossing us about.
It was worth the white knuckles, the scenery was amazing. Who knew Arizona would produce that? Sorry Arizona had you pegged as a gated suburb, old wrinkled folks sipping cocktails kind of girl.
